Excellent use of banding tones to maximize contrast. The shot is baustiful, but it looks a little cramped with the two half trees in the frame. I like the concept of using a foreground object to show distance, as well as scale, but I would have picked one, and included it all. I dare saym that your attempts of imitating Ansel Adams are absolutely spectacular!
