i really like this piece, it's a great floral photograph. however, i think the border is distracting and hinders the aesthetic. otherwise, holy crap, amazing!

Nice image, and that border is great, i've never seen one like that before. Anyway, getting back to the picture, the colours are very cool, and i love the contrast between the Red and white. I also like the lack of black in the foreground, in the back it gives a sense of ending to the image, anycloser forward i think it would have made the colour contrast too much.
And the center of the flower look like a monsters mouth, which is great.

I like the off-center focus of this picture. gives a sense of space even though its macro shot. gives the petals and pollen a sense of grandeur and size.
