third instalment of the "moon in mourning" 'series'. some may say that this one has too much black in it, but i think that the black is well balanced and helps accentuate the white parts of the photo. the image is a composite of approximatly four photos with each photo being of different exposure to allow a very large dynamic range that icludes the moon, clouds, and other interesting light sources.
How on earth do you take a picture so tall? Do you take many pictures and piece them together (in which case how come the sky hadn't changed colour between each picture?) or do you have some kind of crazy camera?
thanks for the comment! no, i dont have a crazy camera... i just took a couple photos and stiched them together the best i could. the reason the sky doesn;t change color is because i used the same exposure on each picture of the sky so that it was able to blend as if it was a solid picture. however the bottom part was taken with a different exposure to get the detail of the horizon...
